About Round Tree Farm

Round Tree Farm is located in the Town of Easton in beautiful Washington County, NY. We are a small, growing business that specializes in custom floral quality holiday and Christmas wreaths with a personalized touch. All Round Tree Farm holiday and Christmas wreaths are made on site with no outsourcing and only the highest quality components. We serve both corporate and individual customers.

The Crafting of the Wreaths

Many months and many steps are involved with the crafting of our holiday and Christmas wreaths. Starting in May several weekends are spent gathering and grading pinecones. These must be the right type and the right size. Thousands are collected and returned to our farm. Each cone is then wired individually and then twisted together in groups of three.

Mid summer the holly berries are grouped in clusters and put onto a floral pick.

August is bow month. Ribbon is cut to length and tied into a traditional three loop bow. These are stored for use later in the season.

Late Oct/Early November the balsam fir is harvested for our Christmas and holiday wreaths. It is critical that the balsam trees receive at least two hard frosts that insure the needles will not drop. Branches are trimmed allowing for continued growth of the tree itself. Cutters prepare the brush by cutting into smaller sections that the wreath makers group into a fan. The fan goes onto a clip that is part of the wreath ring. The wreath maker presses a foot pedal which closes the clip. There are twelve clips on our standard size wreath.

All the finished Christmas and holiday wreaths are stored behind our barn in full shade to preserve freshness. In the first days of December the decorating begins. All our personalized ornaments are hand inscribed and put together with their special card. Mail order boxes are put together and orders are prepared for shipment. Our truck is loaded with pallets of boxes and taken to UPS for delivery.

Fresh and beautiful holiday and Christmas wreaths are delivered to the customer.
